That's what I'm thinking, too. OP, we are a non-Catholic family and send our child to a parochial school. It is "churchy" - prayers three times a day, Mass once a week (plus special Mass at different times throughout the year), and daily religion class based on a Catholic religious textbook for children. Music class is based on religious music. If you send your child to a Catholic school, yes, you should expect your child to learn and respect Catholic teachings. |
