My parents are trying to get a guardianship over me because I have autism. What can I do to stop this?

This post is too long. If you are not a troll and you are a real person, then you have to understand their point of view. Kids are being shot at schools. If you are a white man, you are the demographic of person who tends to murder children by shooting them at schools.

I never saw where you told them you used to go there and were taking a trip down memory lane. That might have gone over better.

Number 3 is important.

People with autism often have a very strong sense of justice, and those feelings can get in the way of communication. The urge to defend yourself is working against you here.

You have to try and relax your justice and activate your empathy. People don’t like to be wrong and that’s ultimately you have to let them think they are right in order to “win” for yourself.
