I’m dead serious, I got mine out last year at 39. I’m married with 2 kids and my OB gave me absolutely no drama or pushback about it and the surgery was outpatient with a pretty quick recovery.

How long before they ban that?

Get it done now. No one should be having kids in this s*thole unless you want to raise them in wartime.

Here it is - we’re all going to be forced to live like 1950s Irish Catholics. Just like we warned you.

I’m sick of being right.

Absolutely not. I know people from families of 8, 9, 10, and 13 children. If they think our daughters are going to be forced to carry pregnancies they are out of their minds.

They already are, but it’s not enough. Now they want to make us make more. Not enough domestic infant supply.

???

That’s the response people like PP and me got when we said this was coming years and years ago. There are whole huge threads with people pshawing us saying it couldn’t happen. Here’s one of the birth control ones https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1178761.page

I have an IUD and a round of mifepristone/misoprostol in the closet. I will not be returning to 1950s Irish Catholicism, which sucked enough for this family the first time.

Condoms are still ok, right?

For now. But next month condoms will cause abortions too.

Good thing I got that vasectomy while it was still legal.

If AI is going to take all our jobs, why does it matter if the birth rate falls?

I’m not sure what makes your daughters exempt from this possibility. Things have gotten a lot worse since that article was published.

People, wake the F up! We are losing all our rights, including bodily autonomy.

I feel like there is nothing we can do. Sigh.
