When we were planning to start a family, we saw a genetic counselor. I had never heard of such a job and wished I had because I think I would have enjoyed that much more than becoming a lawyer.

I don’t think that was it, because someone cited a job I had never heard of and I looked it up and was fascinated by it. Thank you for trying to help me track it down!

Same, but I am an earth scientist by training at the Master's level and did briefly think this would have been cool. It's a ton of statistics, and I have 16 graduate hours in statistics and still don't think it would have been enough.

It’s funny I briefly considered becoming a genetic counselor back in the late 90s when I was in college. Decided against it because I’m not a people person!
