Bought a Pumpkin at Trader Joes Yesterday. How Do I Keep it 'Alive' Until Halloween if Not Thanksgiving?

i can move it down to the basement for a while moisture wouldn't be a problem would it?

Not that poster but I wonder if even costing it with Dawn would disincentivize the squirrels. I know they hate hot sauce but not sure if they’d have to bite it to get the hot sauce. That might also be a problem if your kid picked it up and then got hot sauce in their eyes.
