Lingerie only.
I will beg and plead him to tell me what his favourite outfit on me is and he just doesnt really ever answer. Even trying to dress for his friends wedding he's very much "whatever you like dear", which is annoying when I'm asking an opinion. |
I actually should clarify. He has bought me clothing once - when he planned a secret trip. He bought shirts, pants, swim suits, etc and did a really great job. All very bright colours, which is not what I trend towards. Maybe I should ask him about wearing more colour and see what he says. |
| He will say that I look nice in something. He never requests anything nor buys anything. Sometimes he’ll say I look like a school teacher. I think it’s because I dress conservatively. |
My DH is the same. Or he will just say I look good in it all. It took a long time to "train" him that I won't be offended if he tells me he likes one outfit over another. I think he felt like it was a trick question. Like ..no. If I ask you if my hips look ok in a dress, I want a genuine answer. I won't get mad if you say it looks tight or isn't the most flattering. But he's learned that now. Still likes to just say I look good in everything. |
| We are both sloppy dressers. We don't care. |

Yes he says when he likes something both work outfits and home stuff. I like it when he does that and I like trying things out for him.
My disappointment is that he doesn’t apply the same to himself. He doesn’t react to my opinions on his outfits, doesn’t take my opinion or advice and doesn’t care what he looks like. the result is I don’t like the way he dresses The double standard is so frustrating to me. |
