PP, don't ever apologize for something that works for you! This is why these drugs exist. OP, I have been in your shoes. I became very ill with migraines and had to leave my full-time job so I could get treatment. Ten years later when I was stable and my children were older I was able to return to work. My only requirements are that I have an actual office with a door (no shared space) and the ability to use lamps instead of fluorescent lighting if need be. Otherwise, I have learned to manage well enough to have a career. Good luck with your decision and your health! |

| Chronic migraines and something else. I don’t work. |

I have migraines, insane cervical stenosis, and chronic Lyme. Lyme was not treated for several years, so it is now "under control," but not really. I mean, people say it is not a thing, but it is a thing.
Migraines are nothing to me now, I take preventative and know how to cope with it. Even without the preventative, I learned to cope with them. I had them since I was a child. But, the stenosis? It ia horrible, I am right now having hot neck, pain radiating down my shoulders, everything hurting. I can barely sleep at night without meds. I just live with it. I have a dynamic job, high stress job too, often with travel and no time for proper rest. So, on the weekends that I can, I rest and rest and rest. That is how I live. |

Is amitriptyline, combined with sumatriptan or ubrelvy, not an option?
I am confused that today with so many treatments for migraines you are still debilitated by them. |
Some don’t respond well. None of the preventative work for me. Tried them all. The |
