Some Sorels would fit the bill - very comfortable and waterproof

Another Blundstone rec here. They are fantastic. Lightweight, fantastic for walking, great in cold/wet weather.

Where can one try these on in person?

If you can’t find them anywhere nearby to try on, you can order from Zappos. Easy returns, lots of styles to choose from. Re sizing, I’m a US 5.5/6 and a EU 35/36, and I’m a Blundstone AU 3. One thing to know is that the .5 sizes relate to width, not length. So a 3.5 is not longer than a 3, it is wider. I’d say my feet are medium/wide and I tried the 3.5 and they are too wide for me.

One other tip, I’d probably stay away from the high top version, as tempting as they might be. They are very hard to put on and especially, take off.

I can’t recommend Blundstones highly enough, they are my absolute go to for fall, winter and spring.

Which pair(s) do you recommend?
