Do you share any hobbies with your partner?

We have some that are totally seperate, some that are shared but done seperately, and some that we do together. The mix is nice.

For example I knit (he does nothing like that), we are both learning foreign languages (but different ones so we can share cool things we learn but it's not the same class), and we enjoy live music and theater together.

Mostly just travel. After the last kid goes to college, we plan to make an effort go to the movie theater more, mostly to have something else to share.

Otherwise, I like TV, knitting, and reading, and he likes music and watching and playing sports. We both enjoy working out, but don’t do it together.

Yes! We're both big board gamers, which is great because we always have someone to play with

I love this. What board games do you like?

DW loves to nag and I love to give her reasons to!

ExH, not really. We both liked to go out to eat. We watched separate movies.

Current boyfriend wants to do what I do and we basically like the same things. Water sports, tennis, golf, hiking, walks, bird watching. Outdoor things. He will watch what I want to watch.

We both read, but different genres. We like to travel and we like to golf, but me more than him.

Oh, I wish my DH was a lover of board games!

What is the point of the word "partner"? Husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, are specifc relationship roles that aren't interchangeable.

Current favs:
Sagrada (and the Legacy version is fabulous)
Terraforming Mars (which we rarely get to play because it takes like 2.5 hours and we have three kids five and under)
Bunny Kingdom
Five Tribes
Daybreak
Lost Ruins of Arnak
Pandemic (especially with the “In the Lab” expansion. And the Legacy versions are amazing)

I’ll add that before we had kids we prob played four games a week, often multi-hour games. We brought board games on our honeymoon and played on the beach! Now we generally stick to games than can be played in less than 90 mins - 2 hours, but we generally get in two games a week. We currently own probably… 40? Board games.

Some hobbies we share and others we do not. I just got interested in a new thing and he is encroaching to my annoyance. Luckily we enjoy our standards together like foodie stuff, reading and hiking.

Going to plays/theater.

The occasional TV show.

Coffee shops to talk and hang out. The occasional restaurant, but lately we have been generally disappointed with some aspect of any restaurant.

Thinking to try pickleball but the family is so busy at the moment.

My spouse and I share a lot of hobbies.

We play board games though more with our kid now (My Little Everdell is a favorite). We completed Gloomhaven together.

I read a lot more than he does but we read books together. We watch TV together though there are certain shows that are separate. We both love hiking and bike riding. We have our separate hobbies as well.

We enjoy wine and fine dining.
