The woman whose husband left her for an AP, immediately filed and told their college-aged kids a one sided story. Then she realized she was much happier without him, but he was now the one dragging out the divorce.

Vacation wife has a current thread on Relationships!

There was a thread maybe 1-2 days ago from a woman who said she was overwhelmed with 2 little kids (day care/preschool age), pregnant again, and she and her husband had partial custody of some of the husband’s younger relatives (teens) and then it came out that she was cooking 100% of everything from scratch to save money and because she didn’t like “ingredients” in prepared food. We’re talking making home made soda and not by using a soda stream, baking her own bread, etc. I think the thread was deleted so maybe it was a troll.

There was the guy who I think was continually sharing an analysis of local Covid data if I remember correctly, then he got sick with cancer. I actually went down a rabbit hole online and found when he passed and his obituary.

I though it was all very sad, and sort of regretted that the anonymity of DCUM meant he didn’t really get the tribute that he would have gotten if people had known who he was in real life.

I want an update on the baby born with ambiguous sex. Maybe baby was named Adrian? They must be well past the baby years now. I wonder how they’re managing in the current political climate and hoping the best for the family. OP seemed like a really good mom.

There's a guy who fell in love with a junior in his science lab who won't stop talking about how he deserves all the good things. He continually blames his ex-wife for aging and grieving the death of her father. He pops up on threads to dump on middle-aged women and talk about how great he is.

I'd actually love to hear from the ex-wife so I could express my sympathies to her for having kids with such a narcissist.

This is different from the dysfunctional academic mentor guy.

I also wonder about one or two posters whose husbands hid job losses for long periods of time.
