Congratulations nepo dad. You found a way around the system by paying your first son's way into Michigan and then force feeding the university the rest of the kids to get around the no-legacy-considered policy of the university. Quippy put downs aside, this is obvious to everyone.
Private school laxdaddy whining about privilege and access is peak lax in 2025. And of course, on brand DCUM.

Sounds like the opposite. Lax daddy realizing how the system really works.
That's not the opposite of being 100% oblivious to the privilege and access that he enjoys himself. It's being jealous that someone has those things in larger supply while still not aware of his own standing. He still doesn't understand the system.

Just curious but does the Michigan kid or Army kid live in the DMV area? I understand they play for a "local" travel team but in reality do they come from a DMV address. If not, then it is more a marketing/recruiting award then development by the team. Yes, I do understand that is an issue.

Thank you for agreeing the Michigan 3 star, 3 brother, graduate rich dad is completely top line ridiculous.

You misread my post. I said it was a day ending in y. You, in all likelihood, have positioned yourself(ves) to have inordinate advantages.

You've been willing to shell out for that opportunity. Because that's lacrosse in 2025. He just has a bigger shovel than you. No one ever told you that everybody's shovel was going to be the same size.

And you keep digging a bigger hole. For some reason silence is supposed to make a broken system better.

And that’s why Michigan underwhelms every year

I don't know the situation with the Michigan commit, but in this world of NIL and dwindling budgets for all college sports (with the exception of football and basketball), it's perfectly normal for a big program to take a kid whose family donates to the school or the lax program. UNC and UVA lax have both done it recently, and it's something I suspect we'll see more of.

Absolutely, and they have to at be good at lax. May never see the field but needs to check the box.

LOL. Private school players/payers have a ginormous advantage in getting recruited.
I may have missed the mark --- are you one of those? Or no?

What schools have you heard of that are facing dwindling budgets? It certainly isn't happening at P4 programs.

Fair point and good for the family.

But curious what the price tag would be to get 4 sons committed at a school like Michigan? North of $5m?

FWIW - the three oldest are all the real deal. They could have gone to other big programs.

Thanks for putting this together.

Can you provide the names of the kids making the verbals?

Also, why do we include a kid from Highland Park, Texas on the list if they aren't local to the DC metro area?
