Anyone following the FCCPS School board election?

But there are so many teachers who don't take them away during class. Kids use them to cheat ALL THE TIME. No one is paying attention when they keep getting snapchat notifications in their pocket all during class. They really should be required to be checked in at the beginning of the day and received back. at the end of the day (the same way middle schoolers check their computers in and out, frankly). And if a teacher sees one, it's confiscated.

That’s not logistically possible at the high school. You can’t have students check them in at the beginning of the day and out at the end of the day. They don’t start and end the day in the same place and the building is 7 floors.

I will not be voting Tysse based on experiences with her not being respectful to others in certain situations.

I don’t know how old her kids are but she seems woefully out of her depth when the conversation involves high school policies, sports, or academics. She doesn’t have the background or experience to provide value but it doesn’t stop her from having strong opinions.

So in order to have a strong opinion about sports or high policies you have to have experience and background? What are her strong opinions?

I know, for one thing, she’s passionate about keeping class sizes small across the board. That’s one of the things that I appreciate most about her. Our small class sizes make us unique!
