That was dumb. You're out all that cash if you total the car. Never pay a lease off early.

You can buy out the lease and fully own the car. Then you insure it like a plain old car that you own. If it gets totaled you get the value you negotiated with an insurance provider. This is different than prepaying a lease.

Anyone finding good deals in the DC area? We need a suv-like vehicle and are looking at leasing an electric vehicle.

^^ again.. Not to ignore the list posted upthread but a lot of the advertised deals seem to have ended and we are approaching the 9/30 EV rebate cliff..

Looking for small SUV - liked Mach-e, Hyundai Kona & Ionic 5, Kia Niro or EV6, Subaru Solterra ok-sh.
Chevy and ID4 are out of consideration

Fairfax Volvo had one 2024 C40 Recharge available at a discount when I looked a month ago. I got mine the previous year for 10% off plus the lease deal.
