How much do club team coaches get paid?

Stay classy SYC.

Most clubs do not have owners and are nonprofits. 150k is for the executive directors of big clubs. Numbers go down fast from there.

Yeah the coaches aren't getting rich off this despite all the $$$$$$$$$/money grab claims.

This, I’m amazed at the money grab claims especially from the DMV area. And assuming a coach is worth what he charges, I’m all for coaches having a lucrative side gig.

The coaches are not even close to rich compared to the parents whose kids they are coaching. Coaches are the hired help.

If you need an assistant, I’m here.

You’re not in the dmv. Most of the clubs are nonprofits with boards around here.

Arlington has millions in the piggy bank. Non-profit what?

There are several coaches that live in million dollar plus homes. Explain that. 4000 plus per year per player for what amounts to rec soccer from yesterday. It's a huge money grab.

At Vienna all our coaches have other full time jobs. They all coach on the side to supplement their income. It's a nice gig to get $10-$30K for coaching come kids after work. I wish I had gotten my D License after college and found a club to coach some lower level teams.

Youth soccer coach is not their main job. Other than the directors none of the coaches are full time coaches. They have real jobs.

Dude get a grip. The number of hours your kid is at soccer over the course of a year add up all the hours that coach is on the field with them. All the hours they are in a car getting to practice and games. They are not getting rich by just coaching. It's a hustle like any thing else but the effort and hours required most of them can make alot more per hour of their time at their "real" job.

Ever consider their spouse's job allows them to coach? The coaches aren't getting rich off this (maybe some clubs/directors, but certainly not the coaches).

Coaches have day jobs. Look them up on LinkedIn. Some lawyers, successful small business owners, employed at big companies.

They don't but so what if they did? Most nonprofits have reserves. Some like college endowments have billions. Does not change they are non-profit.

I tried looking VRSC directors. Couldn’t find them a real job? Why am I not surprised? #TeamSolar
