Licenses are expensive and burdensome and, in my limited experience, don’t provide much benefit compared to shadowing and learning from other more experienced coaches. They are a barometer for ambition and commitment, but don’t make someone a good person or coach. If you see other things that give you pause about a coach - regardless of their licenses - look into it and watch.
