Architecture and construction industries are so difficult I don’t see how AI even gets its nose in the tent. Oh that it would!
If your kid is into architecture, I recommend going into civil engineering or real estate development (most developers have civil engineering u see grad degrees) bc they have the money and actually drive the boat. I learned waaaaaaay too late the money man has the decision making power and arch is never the money man. If I had a do-over, I’d have crossed over into architect/developer role 15 yrs ago when my life was simple. |
| Architect here for pushing 30 yrs. AI is not a threat -AT ALL - to architects. It could be used for rendering capabilities which is helpful and not a threat. |

I’m head scratching the lol. I’ve worked in every aspect of architecture, design and construction and everything is very localized from materials and construction details, means and methods. I seriously fail to see how AI will be replacing any architecture jobs at any point in my lifetime. It would be welcome, trust me. |
