How early to get to Dulles for a Southwest flight tomorrow that boards at 6:00 am and leaves at 6:30 am

It’s my least favorite area airport because it’s a schlep from the entrance to your ultimate gate. I always build in extra time for flights at Dulles as compared to National which is so much easier to navigate (no tram, less distance, etc.).

This. The thing that always pisses me off about Dallas is how long it takes us to get to our actual gate. All the walking, people movers, etc.

So need to take into account the speed of the people you were with.

I travel a ton and usually aim to get to the airport 90 minutes before my flight. I live exactly midway between Dulles and National, about 30 minutes to either one, so I usually hop in uber 2 hours before departure.
