Interchanging Water bottle spouts and tops

Not bratty behavior as much as allowing fussiness for no reason. You don’t want her to be that adult who complains if things aren’t done the way she expects.

We all share but if someone complained I would probably try to accommodate.

Owalas and Stanleys have certain tops that match the color and we don't mix them up. It would bother my OCD to have unmatching colors. We have a few hydro flask bottles with the simple black tops and they get mixed up since they are identical.

We don't have matching bottles so that solves our problem. I don't want my kids to share or with me. The metal bottles wash well but all those plastic parts are hard to get completely clean so we don't share.

Thanks all!

But how do you know who’s is who’s if let’s say there are 3 exactly similar klean kanteen spouts out there of the 5 in your family. Like do you look and say oh this belongs to A and look at the other and say, oh this belongs to DH? Or a Stanley straw where there is really no room to label them.

I am leaning towards her dealing with it that everything will be mixed up if you get our service of using the house dishwasher. If you want your own, wash your own bottle yourself and keep it in the bedroom.

And the best part, I am not 100% sure but I think she is actually the one contributing more to leaving her teeth marks on the spouts….:

That how I was going to say you tell whose is whose- teeth marks! So when handing them out after washing: The dent one goes to kid always dropping. The teeth marked one to chewer. If you have family where all look same and no dents/teeth, then just say “yep, this is yours, I double checked!”

What? Do you have your names on your glasses, plates, and silverware at home? Do you drink out of glasses at a restaurant?

This is the most DCUM problem ever. You have some real special snowflakes there.
