African-Americans Families in FCPS

We are in a high ranked ES in a wealthy area and have very few AA kids in the school. Maybe 8 total?

No matter what race you are it’s hard being in a school where people don’t look like you. Kids don’t notice at the lower grades but I have definitely seem families from
Grades 2-6 affected by inappropriate comments.

Prefacing that he was admitted without an appeal is bizarre. Do you mention this to make sure we know he's so much better than those that do get in on appeal?
