Trump to pull US out of UNESCO

I guess those of you clutching your pearls are unaware that The Great And Powerful Obama also stopped U.S. funding for UNESCO. Figures that you either don't know or are studiously ignoring that fact.

Washington has had a troubled relationship with UNESCO over the years.

It was a founding member in 1945 but first withdrew in 1984 to protest alleged financial mismanagement and perceived anti-U.S. bias during the Cold War.

It returned in 2003 under President George W. Bush, who said UNESCO had undertaken needed reforms, but in 2011 the Obama administration announced it was stopping funding for the agency following its vote to grant the Palestinians full membership.

I don't know a lot about UNESCO apart from the fact that they point out that certain landmarks are cool. They point out things like "France has great food" and "night clubs in Berlin are lit." All points I can agree with, but why does the UN need to do this? We we funding their trips to Berlin nightclubs? If so, are they hiring?

UNESCO doles out generous funding in return for political favors in support of the WEF agenda.
