New poster here, PP, I don't see it as "value added" because it is going to be one more thing we have to remember to check and make sure it is accurate. I mean, I wouldn't check my own doctor's notes generally - she's a human and a professional and I have no reason to be concerned, but AI notes? I"m sure they'll be messed up. And boy oh boy once you have some inaccuracies in your notes it is a pain to get them changed. |
I work for Inova, not as an MD, and we were just told this week that the doctors are using it and we may get the opportunity to use it as well. I am skeptical.
I personally review all my notes before signing. I would be curious to see how good it is. The doctors used to have scribes or assistants that did the notes, so I don't know what is happening with that now. |
