Friend who acts like my house is hers

How does she bring strangers over? Does she include you in the conversations or just walk out to whichever room she needs with the people and you’re not included at all? I can’t even imagine how something like this would play out?

OP, could it be your friend has some ownership stake in your house? Even if you are paying a mortgage down, she may hold the deed (or be a part owner of the property, maybe through an investment partnership), in which case she has every write to visit the house to make sure you aren't damaging it or neglecting upkeep. Be careful.

My friend from out of town would do this. Unannounced. Sometimes a little drunk. I had to ghost her eventually as the boundaries talk didn’t work. She thought it was acceptable behavior because she was ok with anyone stopping by her place like that. She was unable to understand privacy.
