Does your local public high school have their sports facilities locked up 24/7?

At our FCPS high school, everything is open. Our baseball, softball and tennis courts are all together and have multiple gates around the complex but one is always open. So you just have to find the open one. At the stadium, I'm pretty sure the main gate has three "doors." Two are always locked but one is always open. The only time I ever remember them locked was during the early part of Covid when all outdoor spaces were locked.

Our bathrooms are only open when someone has a permit to use the stadium.

It’s disappointing, but our lawsuit-hungry society.

TikTok especially, promotes school vandalism.

Prince William does this. It's very annoying whenever we are down there.

The lawsuit and vandalism nonsense is the bullshit they hide behind. Nobody in a nice community is vandalizing and you can't cite one lawsuit like this. The athletic director and often the superintendent are washed up jocks who want "their" best equipment locked up for "their" favored teams, notably the football team. Note they don't give a crap about elementary and often middle school campus stuff, none of that is locked down like Fort Knox. Only the most expensive facilities.

Bullshit.
