OR

Just write "Mr. 420" on a piece of paper and hand it to the couple on your way out. They will know what he is.

Who/what is Mr.420??

In India, "420" or "Mr. 420" is slang for a con artist or swindler, stemming from a section of the Indian Penal Code dealing with cheating.

Considering what 420 means in the US, that's amazing.

OP. When they guy left I told them to be careful who they give their money to and life coaches rarely create wealth.

It’s nice to see people scamming in person, the old fashioned way.

I love that this is occurring in a Panera.

You're a good person for warning them, OP!

I'm Indian American and didn't know the 420 slang over there!

I saw a financial MLM pitch inside the Panera that was in Tysons Mall like 10 years ago! I was shocked - it was a busy lunch hour and the place was packed (and pretty small anyway since it’s basically in a food court) and super loud.

It's called "Char Sow Bees" (420 in Hindi). Used in several ways - He is a 420, Her 420 husband is hanging in Panera, He is trying to do 420ee(Char Sow Bee-See) on the gullible Indian couple.

That's too bad. Are there any attractive South Asian females involved?

I'm also Indian-American and never heard of this - also, your weird phonetic spelling of how to say four hundred twenty in Hindi is hilarious

It's possible he offered to buy them lunch if they sat through his pitch, OP. Just because they are immigrants doesn't mean they are stupid.

If a lunch at Panera is a good come on to you then you shouldn’t be thinking about investing 15k with a financial life coach. Spending 15k on a financial life coach is inherently stupid.

Did he offer them a Time Share also?
