If Trump and Biden can become president at their elderly ages, the foolish American voters are capable of electing any idiot who shows up at the right time and right place. |
Ick. |
the US is not ready for a Jewish president, or a woman president, or a black woman president. I think you have to look at people like Gov Bashear, Gov Stein, someone in that vein. |
He is a much better option than the other names that have been floated.
AOC, Newsom, Wes Moore, have no path to victory. |
Jon and Pete! |
A while male from a southern, purple state and an inspirational speaker. He'd do very well. |
So which is it? |
What? |
Never heard of him, which suggests name recognition is a problem. |
I like Ossoff, but I really want to tell Team Ossoff that these posts feel nakedly transparent. There are too many, and they don’t feel authentic. I can’t put my finger on why, but they don’t have the ring of truth — they have the ring of a comms team. |
I responded on his behalf in this thread, and I promise you I'm not a plant. Does anybody really GAF about DCUM-Politics in the national landscape? I want to win in 2028 and not play games about it. There is a ton of damage that will need to be fixed after the moron-in-chief exits. And we need somebody that will help repair the institution of government, not take advantage of Trump's destruction of it. |
Ossoff is more of a student of Obama than Bernie. Professional, consistent, and well spoken. Those should be good things, but lately you have to get people emotional to win votes and I don’t think that is his vibe at all. |
Have you seen any of his rallies? He's a great speaker. |
I always toss his name out there in these threads. I like him. He's charismatic. He has fight. I don't know if 2028 is his year, though. If he wins reelection in 2026, he should focus on 2032. Get his name out there more. A lot of people aren't familiar with him by name, but know him through is intense questioning. I've sent videos of him destroying various Republicans during questioning and people are always like "oh yeah, that guy!" Not great for a presidential run when most people only know you as "oh yeah, that guy".
If he loses his seat in 2026, he could be a fizzled out one-and-done. I don't think that will happen, but GA is wonky that way. Especially with the way they are redistricting again. |
He has to want the job first. If he does, he would be a good candidate. |
