OP here thanks everyone. I’ve been thinking we should do MiraLAX for a little while now but DW hasn’t wanted to do it.
We dealt with this with our daughter when she was about 4.5 long after potty training and it definitely helped her. Definitely will want to get this under control before restarting potty training. Thanks to everyone who contributed. Will message the pediatrician and plan to start miralax right away. |

| We were in a similar situation with DC, and pushed for blood testing to rule out underlying gastric issues that might be causing recurrent constipation. As it turns out, DC has celiac disease. We didn’t succeed with potty training until we started to get that under control. |
