Do you have rules for kissing?

What? You mean kissing in front of you, in your house, etc? I'm confused. Also, anyone who thinks they can forbid their teen from kissing others is so out of touch and stupid.

You’re using the word stupid a lot. Are you triggered by something?

Just a typical DCUMer who believes teens are adults and can do as they please except for piercings and tattoos

Also don't know why posters are so triggered by this question. Op even said she can't control it all I think she's just asking about what you allow in your home. Some parents allow their teens to have sex in their house and some forbid dating all together clearly there's a huge gray area in between and I think that's what op is looking for.

Obviously there is some line on what’s acceptable, peck on the lips may be fine, tongue kissing may not be ok in front of the parents. What they do in private is their own business.

Yes, a 25-degree head tilt kiss with 3 cm open mouth for a duration of no more than 45 seconds is the limit.

PARENT YOUR KIDS. EVERYONE KNOWS THIS RULE.

You forgot breathe through your nose

You also forgot teeth brushing and daily flossing. Those teens need hygiene reminders for the kissing. That’s an important rule.

Actually, only once but whatever makes you feel better.

So your kids just make out whenever wherever and you just go about your day?

My kids are older teen/young adult age and both have been in relationships but I’m not sure I’ve actually seen either of them ever kiss their SO. Not because I gave them “rules“ but because like normal people they like to have a bit of privacy?

No heavy making out at the dinner table? Talking about those kind of rules?

Or talking about all the time, as in "you can't kiss until you are 18" kind of rules? Those won't work. Hookup culture is big now.

This. Both my daughters have boyfriends and I've never ever seen either of them kiss. They would never to that in front of us.
