How was the first statement untrue? Alligator Alcatraz? The big beautiful bill?

Prisons to house people here illegally until they are deported are hardly "concentration camps". Such histrionics are a large reason why Ds are seen as unserious and fear-mongering.

And nobody with any sense is arguing that poor people are subsidizing the wealthy, given the progressive nature of out tax system and given that welfare is funded largely by taxes received from the productive earning class. It would be a rare case where someone receiving federal social welfare benefits is paying more in taxes than the value of what the government is giving them.

This is the type of deep middle school logic that got us here, and a tremendous example of how much time we have to burn to explain the simplest of concepts. You are on your own now.

However, just because it’s the 4th and I am feeling charitable, when the deportations happen, are they being deported to “home” or to an unaccountable prison?

Is the mall filled with foreign tourists? If so, where are they from? Are they in danger of being abducted off the street and sent it a concentration camp? Do you think that any of them will come back? After reading about how many of them are getting treated by the new Gestapo, I doubt it.
