The Bahamas. With two little kids, Atlantis might be easiest. |
What are your priorities? The big question is whether you want a kids club. The next big question is whether you want a place with like nice pools and drink service etc. do you want to be able to cook some stuff for the kids or are you in the “no way do I even want the option to cook!” Camp? |
Punta Cana all inclusive was our first trip with a 2 year old. It was perfect.
We have been all over since, but I think that was the most convenient in every way. |
+1 Aruba is my all time favorite for all around best destination. - extensive traveler. |
OP didn’t ask for kids clubs and a lot of parents aren’t comfortable with them anyway. We never used them, even when available. |
Op- Any specific resorts? I prefer all inclusive. |
DP here. Those are not that popular in Aruba. The main AI’s are in Mexico and the DR, which are places I prefer not to go, so we’ve sort of given up on AI’s. |
FDR resort in Jamaica comes with a dedicated nanny and is all inclusive. P |
If you can afford it Beaches Turks and Caicos. |
We did Turks and Caicos at Beaches. Kids club was great. Beach beautiful. Food was mediocre. We had a good time. Direct flight. |
Look into Hyatt Ziva |
Out of curiousirt why do you prefer AI? We did a cost comparison and found we’d have to spend like 600 per day on food and drinks to even out the price — which let us eat and drink as much as we wanted without stressing about the cost. Unless you’re using a kids club a lot or are very heavy drinkers (like 7 or more drinks per day), AI is typically not worth it. But if you want AI, the Beaches chains are good for little kids with AI. We went to the one in Jamaica that has a smalll water park which was nice. |
It’s easier/less stress logistically with kids. |
We did a couple AI vacations with small children and I agree it was so nice. The kids could try different things and find what they want to eat, there’s no waiting for a check after everyone’s done, often they will just have a hot dog stand or something for lunch by the pool, etc. When the hotel doesn’t need to track orders and charge for everything things just becomes easier. |
