No, they don't. Don't know why people always fall for this crap. Most veterans can easily tell the difference between fireworks and gun shots and it doesn't trigger any type of PTSD response.

Really wish DC would cut down on illegal fireworks use. Total broken windows policing situation. I go out of town every year to avoid it.

Woke up this morning to a text from a family member whose car was damaged by one. She’s got one car, is a working class person, and is going to have to go through all the insurance BS and taking the car to the shop because we have decided as a society that we are just going to let trashy people setting off loud fireworks at 3 am near people’s homes take over this holiday.
