Any evidence of your assumption that they aren’t working? Seems more likely the employees are teleworking or working out of one of the many other branches.

+1. Seriously. Those PPs act as if there's only one library in all of DC. Our city is way too accessible for this to be a real inconvenience.

The Shepherd library had broken AC a few weeks ago- I think it took maybe three weeks to fix? They did a good job of transferring all the hold to the Takoma library and keeping people informed.

It's hard to think of a job that is less taxing than being a librarian. They can't do it without a/c?
