I've got a large greyhound in my condo that is quiet as a mouse - he lays around all day inside and never barks. We take multiple long walks daily.
When I dog sit a family member's 20lb mixed breed she runs rampant, clicking and clacking the hardwoods and yipping and yapping - she's a bundle of energy even in when crossing common spaces. I haven't had any complaints but probably only because her visits are infrequent. So I agree - size is less important than temperament. |
