Mort & Chandon or Veuve Clicquot for toast?

Haha - I read the title as you were looking which paired better with toast. I suppose it depends if the toast has caviar on it.

For a toast where the champagne is being poured in the back and brought out on trays, I'd go with Kirkland. It's very good, and no one will see the bottle.

I hear Mort & Chandon pairs great with pastrami on rye and a dill pickle.

It this ^ isn't an option, I'd go for the Veuve.

VC is overrated. Billecart Salmon, Pol Roger, even Ruinart are all much better.
