If this bill does NOT go through, my family wil be paying at least $6,000 more a year in taxes. Possibly more.
And, we are solidly middle income. Less than $150K a year.

It doesn't take into account your usual deductions. It says 9k for me but actually I would just stay around the same.

Plus we end up paying more because of Trump's tariffs.

The Republicans will win over some wealthier families by sprinkling a few hundred or thousand their way while normal people get virtually nothing - but the real win is for the billionaire class who already has more than enough.

If Bezos can afford a $20 million wedding he can afford to pay more in taxes, end of story.

Exactly. Tariffs are a consumption tax that affects lower incomes more. Taxes are being shifted from the rich to the poor.
