I guess Bethesda parents can pay 12% interest rates! 😆

I’ve met many millennials with huge loans from places like Columbia Social Work or Georgetown Public Policy who could have just gone to Maryland and saved so much money.

You think schools will reduce tuition/other costs?!?

Man you’re out of touch!

Besides med school and law school, who pays for a graduate degree? I had a tuition waiver and got paid as a GTA for graduate school.

It seems no one cares on this College/Uni message board.

Seems professional students/families have millions of $$$ laying around.

I’ll go post on the Money/Finances message board.

The Paying for College Facebook group regularly posts about this, and their is a lot of concern. This does seem indicative of the difference between DCUM and the members of that group. We wouldn't need the loans, but I feel very worried for all those students who do need them.

Business school. Any professional school and plenty of other masters programs. Only PhDs usually have funding.

It will not. People will take private loans.

If anything, hopefully the cap gets raised a bit more.

Many healthcare professional degree COA are well above $300k.

There will be a lot of crying in rural areas when there’s even less physicians, dentists, etc.
