It is good; somewhat heavy on the mayo for me. I add extra chicken from the salad bar and throw in extra of the fruit/celery if I have it on hand. Then use a salad chopper on it so it sits better in a sandwich or on top of a bagel.

I like Trader Joe’s chicken salad. There used to be a great deli on I Street near GW that had good chicken salad sandwiches, but it is long gone.

The very best used to be Wampler chicken salad, carried at Giant, but it became unavailable shortly after the pandemic.

I like the curried chicken salad at Trader Joe's, but that's just me. Also, the Open Road restaurants have excellent chicken salad lettuce wraps.

Curry is polarizing, but if you like curry it is great in chicken salad.
