Don't worry. You are fine.

| You are great. š Go and donāt worry at all. The patches work great especially in the center of the tire. The rim would be bad. Do you have AAA or some other road assistance plan? They are great, too, and gives you peace of mind. |
| We did a 3000 mile road trip on a patched tire and it was fine! The person at the tire shop told me the tire would last for its normal life with the patch just as well as it would if it had never been patched. I was worried too put it seems like I pick up more nails or have tire trouble in my own neighborhood than on a road trip! |
That can happen but it's rare now. Most know to buff the rubber good with a wire wheel and set fire to the patch liquid before applying. A lazy tire shop boy making $7 an hour might not have done it right. |
Iāve gotten nail holes patched many times; no issues ever. I didnāt even think about it. |
| Get a good AAA membership and go on the trip. You aren't supposed to replace tires just for something that needs a patch. Sometimes you need to replace the whole tire and sometimes you dont. Chances are they would have happily sold you a new tire if they thought you even remotely needed one. |

Iāve put 45,000 miles and counting on a patched tire.
At this point Iām starting to think it might be ok. |
Try to wring 100,000 miles out of it to be sure.
