Should I sell my .1 of bitcoin?

Can someone explain Bitcoin to me like I'm an idiot.

I understand the value of stock as a present value of future earnings.

I understand the value of good and commodities

I understand the value of art and collectables.

But I don't understand the value of Bitcoin. Doesn't the value of Bitcoin depend on the greater fool theory?

Isn't it's value based on everyone that owns Bitcoin believing it is worth something? Like art but fungible.

If I owned all the Bitcoin in the world, nobody would pay me anything for it these days, there is better crypto tech out there isn't there?

start a thread. this isn’t an answer to the question. you can also google it, or read a book.

These things are beyond me, but obviously were the greatest investment in human history for some who bought a bunch of them for a dollar long ago.

you sell it? just like stock. you can google it as well and find out.

Clearly you haven't heard of crypto kidnappings if you're going around telling people you own bitcoin outright. This is happening all over the world.

Scrooge. The tax will be 15 percent tops, more likely 10, and potentially zero

Sell half of it.

The bubble is straining to burst.

The chart value is misleading because BTC is commonly lost, which isn't shown in the charts.

Get out before everyone else does.

OP is a perfect example of how people lose their BTC. The value will increase for a while as more BTC disappears, and then the market will get too thin with only a sliver of true believers trading with each other.

Yes, I'm sure a random anonymous person on the Internet is at risk of being kidnapped for 0.1 Bitcoin.

Get real.

This is exactly what I want to know. I don't understand how it is valuable.

Whether it’s valuable or not, keeping track of it is a pain in the a$$
