They go for a year and leave when the school weren’t competing at the varsity level. New Hope and Bethel are competing at the varsity level, and Gillion is looking like a powerhouse. Gillion will likely be in the top 10 of DMV high schools. Students are going to these schools to become a part of the basketball program. They may leave to get more playing time, a better opportunity, or because they are moving out of town, but most kids aren’t just going to reclass anymore. These schools are looking like game changers. Some of local ones will have better teams than the WCAC schools. |

This is just silly. People are just using these "schools" (Gillian is literally at an office park gym) to get an extra year of high school eligibility at a real school. |
