Thoughts on this kind of travel coach?

Liking the coach is a big factor. Never a good fit to accept an offer just b/c a team plays in ABC league.

Hopefully, your DD and you will continue to like the Coach!

But when the Club changes the Coach for your team or your DD makes a different team, you may start to second guess your choices and options after your investing a substantial amount of time and money on this.

I love your point, you are doing the travel thing right, that is the best attitude... but I'm tired of getting a new "licensed coach" each year that stops being effective after the first 30-60 days of the season and there are no more new drills & teaching points.

I'd take the passionate coach who believe he/ she can develop and teach all the players... not the older coach who blames the players and plays favorites.

This happens all the time though. Coaches stay in a certain band, or the coach has been on a team for a period of time and the club changes him or her out, or the coach gets a new opportunity at a different club. Enjoy this year and see what seems to be happening next year.
