I really want to know how/why this story happens in the NYTimes. It’s all old stuff, right? So what happens, people in the admin are mad at him and start calling the NYT, or returning their calls?

But it seems like this is all campaign/personal stuff so not likely White House? I feel like if the WH is trying to knife him it will be more doge-related?

Is this his business buddies who don’t want him back? What is it?

To be honest a lot of us knew the gist already. It was all over the internet. Most of this is not new, but it's nice to see it all nicely synthesized in the NYT. Didn't know about the J-pop star, and I'm Japanese!
