I've never failed doing what she tells/asks me to, so I'm leaning that direction lol

If she said yellow gold buy them at a place that will switch if she decides she goofed.
But i wear only yellow gold and the only time I wear my white gold diamond and pearl earrings is when I wear my pearls. Which is not often.

I like yellow gold and would want yellow gold earrings. .75 ct per ear + (1.5tcw)

Women talk, and I know for a fact that I’m the only woman among my close friends who really liked her engagement ring. Why? My husband and I went together. My friends ranged from okay with their ring to really disappointed. Most of the women told their husbands how special the rings were, because they were non-returnable, not because they thought the rings were beautiful.

Buy your wife a pretty box with a note in it that says you’d rather choose together. That way, she enjoys the earrings as much as you enjoy her.

I had a boss who had at least three marriage proposals turned down.

I overheard him giving advice to a younger colleague who shared he was going to propose that the most important thing in buying an engagement ring was the return policy.

Oh wow. I didn’t even know that was an option. That's good to know

I know it depends on the person but I was leaning towards 2 tcw. That shouldn't be too big for regular wear right?

OP, I think it is possible to get yellow gold studs with white gold prongs. I know someone who did this with engagement ring.

But, I am not an expert at all.

I lend toward white gold due to more pop I feel. I like to wear 2 carat studs in my 1st holes and 0.5 carat studs in my 2nd holes. My BF just wears CZs in all his holes right now
