Has everyone forgotten that during the Joel Greenberg (Gaetz' friend) trial in Florida several years ago, Greenberg claimed he was told to arrange a pardon with Roger Stone, and Roger told him it would cost $250k and to write a very detailed narrative of his crimes. I suppose Trump keeps the narrative for blackmail of coconspirators. Gaetz imploded the deal.

I don’t think he really cares about LGBTQ+ issues at all in any way, not even to hate them like Christofascists do. He cares about one thing only: money and power. I suspect his personal kink is getting away with crime, like a wealthy shoplifter who is just in it for the high.
