Hamas got about 45% of the vote vs 42% for Fatah. Even in Gaza, they didn’t get more than 47% of the vote in any district. That was in 2006 and was the last elections held so it was a long time ago. I live in Europe- in a Dach country. Some germans are ok with not killing gay people b.c they already did that in the concentration camps but there is still a LOT of homophobia. Like- not really wanting to play sports with someone who is gay or not renting a house to someone who is gay, management transferring them to another city for work and disregarding their partner as opposed to a heterosexual relationship. Real homophobia that has a real life impact on ordinary working people. |
