Why are masculine woman less accepted than feminine men

Anonymous
Bottom line, you're a moron who thinks you know more about being a man than a man does, and invents narratives about strangers who are living their own lives.

22:38 not homophobic, just misandric. Congrats on being a different flavor of bigoted ahole? Gay men don't need your faux "not homophobic".

Then be a man about it and stop getting so offended.

Man up and be a woman already.

However woman with masculine characteristics are often compared to trans woman , and people feel disgusted by us . I’ve had many men joke that only gay men would be attracted to me , and call me a man . I take after my dad , I have an angular sharp face , deep voice , broad shoulders , narrow hips , hairy body , and massive hands /feet .

I thought I had a hormonal imbalance , and went to my doctor . I have normal estrogen , testosterone levels for a woman of my age .

When will society accept that woman come in all shapes and sizes and we all don’t look hyperfeminine .

Because they are men.

As a guy, I would find the hairy body a big turnoff, and perhaps the hands/feet if you’re not exaggerating. The rest fits in with a certain ideal, “boy with boobs” that lots of guys pursue: think Olympic pole vaulters, sprinters, hurdlers. So shave/pluck/laser already.

Hair might be a turnoff but I prefer woman who don’t need help carrying in the groceries.

I mean I had a friend in high school who was viciously bullied for being gay, so feminine men being accepted is extremely context specific. There is still a lot of homophobia out there directed at men.

My sister is very tall and large built, played soccer an all that, and has been harassed by people who wrongly think she's trans. That's why I hate it when anti trans people go on about protecting women because my experience is these nuts jobs end up harassing tall strong cis women.

Disagree with the premise.

Feminine men get a whole bunch of crap. IMO, masculine women get less. Women in general have more leeway.

Always been that way.
Men are more protective of all women, than other men. Men are more vicious to weaker men.

I’m not homophobic, but I am put off by feminine-presenting men, be they gay or straight, doesn’t matter.

I would much rather have coworkers who were all female and butch lesbians or former college athletes or military veterans than a bunch of men who act and present in feminine ways. That creeps me TF out.

Immediate ick.

Why immediate ick? Can you explain that? I am also a cisgender masculine male (very happily married) and platonically speaking or in a coworker situation I would also prefer to be around masculine acting women than feminine acting men. It’s not a sexual attraction thing I just don’t like effeminate men. I would rather hang out or work with women who act like tomboys or act masculine. Why is that ick?

Absolutely think it's easier to be a tomboy-type woman than an effeminate man. Women can dress however they want, watch and play sports, have outdoor or other hobbies. Men are in a narrower box. Completely disagree with OP.

Lol. You all are living in Lala Land. Men would be raping and attacking and killing other men at higher rates than women if this were at all true. Men in general are not protective of women, they are predatory.

This is because traits associated with femininity are considered bad, and those associated with masculinity are good. Misogyny 101.
