How is she acting stupid? It's a mutually beneficial relationship. Not something I'd choose for myself or I'd be particularly thrilled for DD to choose, but they are consenting adults. She'll walk away with a ton of money and all she had to do was sleep with him and be his arm candy. Doesn't seem all that stupid to me. I'd say he's the dumb one but I'm sure he knows what their relationship is.

I think for the next few years there's going to be a lot of MAGA- inspired relationships like this, based purely on transactions, and on the idea of women as sex objects and men as the sources of power.

I mean this is a timeless, universal thing but it's sad and kind of empty. They both "win "but it's a pretty soulless way of winning.
