I'm going to push for Chicago. The flight from DC to Chicago is easy peasy, and the one-hour time change is inconsequential. Summer time Chi is just truly the best!

Do you like the beach? Fly to tampa and then uber to Clearwater beach. You can walk to everything there. No car needed. Sandpearl is a nice hotel with a good spa.
