I would probably pick Berlin or Warsaw then- never been to Berlin but Warsaw is really nice for a couple days. Good food, great museums, super safe. Walking tour options in English. |
Super safe is the best part for us. |
Are any of these European cities really any more dangerous than, say, Cincinnati? |
Warsaw is the opposite of dangerous. Law enforcement never stopped doing its job in Poland, compared to other EU countries. |
The rate of gun ownership in Poland is a tiny percentage of what it is in the US. Amazing what happens when everyone isn’t toting guns around everywhere. |
Of course, not! I never felt unsafe in any European city, probably because I don’t expect every other person to be carrying a gun! Of the three cities that are options, I would probably pick Berlin or Warsaw given your timeframe. All three are wonderful cities to visit, but Madrid would be nicer in the spring. |
