Year Round DCPS schools

| The extended school year pilot several years ago wasn't done especially well, for some of the reasons mentioned above, but there are definitely families who would LOVE a strong year-round school option. (One that supported teachers well, obviously.) It is expensive though, hard to see the WTU going for it. There are some example models elsewhere in the country, mostly charters or privates. |
