Drunk Shakespeare. Has anyone been?

I thought it was fun. But I have a decent background in Shakespeare, which is often pretty puerile and raunchy. They did a good job of cherrypicking the bits that were appropriate to the premise-- eg, the bits that sound flowery but are actually dick jokes-- and it was clear who in the audience didn't get it. It's theater in the round, so you can see the confused/ offended faces. Pretty funny, going to anything Shakespeare and expecting highbrow!

Agree that it's a one-time thing. I came, I saw, I laughed, I don't need to do it again.

I think you have to be 21. I wanted to take my teenager, who loves shakespeare, but they greet you at the door with a shot. At least the one we went to.

I think if you are uptight, offended easily and judgemental, then it probably is not a good choice.

So, not for me then.

Clearly.
